"I have built ten Summit One Trumpets in the first year of production. This is the ultimate versatile horn that will instantly take your playing to the next level. Suitable for all situations, "One" was designed to be free blowing, open and dark. You can easily scream with a lead piece, but it was designed to win over the audience with warmth, depth and a vocal breadth. Weighing just 1 ounce lighter than the standard Summit, this horn's higher efficiency makes it extremely easy to play wide intervals at any dynamic level. The energy you put into this horn is amplified and vocalized almost like a real human voice. Play softer or louder than any horn you've ever owned. I created Summit One as a challenge to my skills and as an experiment to test a more recent Standing Wave Efficiency theory. Creating so many holes is more difficult than one may imagine! Summit ONE is the first of a designer series of instruments I will produce in the coming years. The idea is simple, take original artistic ideas I've sketched over the past 18 years and apply them to the canvas of my trumpets."
